CLIMBING THE TEIDE AT NIGHT AND SUNRISE AT 3715M

We will visit one of the most beautiful place in the world, heritage of humanity, the Teide volcano and its 3715m that we will reach on foot from montaña blanca located at 2200m above sea level in the national park.

The start of the hike is scheduled at 2 or 3 am depending on the sunrise.

We will start our ascent from the Montaña blanca trail for approximately 3.30 h. Small break. We will continue the ascent to the crater, about 1.30h, more or less depending on your pace and we will arrive at the summit 3718 m to observe this magnificent spectacle: Sunrise and its explosions of color, the shadow of Teide on the Atlantic and of course feel this unique energy that the volcano gives us. The descent will be done by cable car ( 21€/pers and 10€/pers Resident no including in the price)

Important :

For climatic reason the cable car can be close so we will have to go down on foot by the same path.

This experience requires very good physical condition, motivation and good equipment. We reach 3715 m the oxygen is scarce and the temperatures can sometimes be negative.

It is a real personal challenge but the reward is great and surpassing oneself gives unforgettable satisfaction.

Do not have altitude sickness, heart problems or hypertension

Have a good hiking experience or be sporty

Have good equipment for hiking and cold

Hiking boots

Warm clothes, at 3715m temperatures are often negative (jacket, gloves, hat)

Headlamp

Water (about 3 L / pers)

Sandwich, fruit, dried fruit, cereal bar
